Kuredu Island Resort on the northern reef of Lhaviyani atoll. An area famous for its beauty and abundant fish life. 80 miles north of the International Airport and 40 minutes by seaplane. Here, guests choose from three resorts and twelve categories of accommodation. Seaplane transfers must be added to your booking and international flights must land before 3pm.

Resting on 3.5 kilometres of white sand in the picturesque northern reef of Lhaviyani Atoll you're spoilt for choices at Kuredu Island Resort & Spa. Its lively‚ friendly feel makes it a favourite with families and couples looking to combine fun and relaxation. There’s a fantastic selection of charming bungalows and villas decorated in a tropical theme. 'O' Villas are modern and located in a quieter area (12yrs plus only) and Sangu Villas are located in the exlcusive adult only area with an infinity pool and adult only restaurant exclusive for Sangu guests. Take part in a sports tournament, go diving, play tennis or try out Kuredu's own golf course; with so much to do it’s no wonder it’s such a popular diverse island.

There are four main buffet restaurants at Kuredu which are conveniently located across the island to be near your accommodation of choice, each restaurant offers a dining experience crafted for each villa type, Bonthi Restaurant is for guests staying in
the Garden Bungalows and Beach Bungalows; Koamas Restaurant is for guests staying in the Beach Villas, Premium Beach Villas and Jacuzzi Beach Villas; ‘O’ Restaurant is for guests staying in O Beach Villas and O Jacuzzi Beach Villas (no children under 12); Sangu Restaurant is for adult only guests who choose to stay in the Sangu Water Villas and Sangu Jacuzzi Beach Villas, while the Private Pool Villa guests can choose where they would prefer to dine. All four featuring the same “all you can eat” buffet style meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, served in traditional open-air, sand or wood floor, thatch or wood shingle roof dining rooms. Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner is included in the All Inclusive package.

Thera are also three à la carte dining options, Franco’s, an all-day dining menu featuring Mediterranean cuisine as well as pizza, burgers and sandwiches; The Far East, specializing in authentic Asian cuisine; while the Beach Shack, serves fresh, local seafood and vegetarian dishes. These restaurants are not included in the all inclusive package.

In addtion there are seven bars at Kuredu. Each bar offers a snack menu as well as a signature bar and drinks concept, an island bar crawl is in order to experience all the resort has to offer. Sai Kotari tea house on the jetty is at an addtional charge.

Bonthi Restaurant

Bonthi Restaurant is located within the signature building of Kuredu in the centre of the island and it is the main restaurant for the guests in both Garden Bungalows and Beach Bungalows for all their meals. Bonthi serves international and local cuisine on rotating theme nights chosen from around the world.

Koamas Restaurant

Koamas Restaurant is also situated in the signature building of Kuredu, serving international and local buffets with daily theme nights and show cooking for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Koamas is for all guests in villas on the southern coast of the island comprising of Beach Villas, Jacuzzi Beach Villas and Premium Beach Villas.

Sangu Restaurant

Sangu Restaurant is an adult only restaurant, located on the beach and is the allocated Restaurant for the guests staying in the Sangu area in either a Sangu Water Villa or Sangu Jacuzzi Beach Villa.

‘O’ Restaurant

‘O’ Restaurant with a deck spreading over the water on the eastern end of the island has an ambience of being one with nature. This is the allocated restaurant for guests staying in O resort on the north eastern part of the island. Only guests age 12 and above can eat here.

This restaurant accepts guests above 12 years of age only.

Babuna Bar

Babuna Bar is the main bar between Bonthi and Koamas restaurants where we have our entertainment & disco’s. The all-rounder, this bar offers famous cocktails, shots and the resorts all-time favorites. Don't forget your white outfit for white night every Friday!

Sai Kotari

Sai Kotari is our romantic tea house. Situated at the end of Kuredu harbour, "Sai Kotari" offers from dusk till midnight exclusive tea specialities and a variety of coffee cocktails. The underwater lights allow you watch the ocean life even after sunset. Sai Kotari is not included on the AI plan and is at an extra charge payable locally.

BeachShack

The Beach Shack is amazing whether you are a meat lover or a fish lover…the parade of culinary miracles is about to start. Local tuna and reef fish to rib eye steak and pork tenderloin and with a spectacular finish -as deserved- with a coconut volcano, Beach Shack can satisfy all tastes! Franco’s à la carte dining here the Cuisine is Mediterranean and includes all food highlights and landmarks of the Spanish, Greek and Italian cuisine! Spices, herbs and fresh ingredients from our greenhouse are mingled harmonically with poultry, red meat, fresh fish and seafood to create a delightful experience for all tastes! The wide selection of Tapas, Pizzas and Calzones, the fresh pastas and desserts that you only find in a sun kissed Mediterranean tratoria, taverna or tapas bar add a different note to the menu! Golf

Believe it or not golf has finally arrived in the Maldives!!

Kuredu Golf Club is the first of its kind in the Maldives. The Golf course is located on the eastern portion of the Island, surrounded by natural forest and the noise of the ocean. There could be no where more peaceful for the game of golf.

The Golf Club boasts a full size driving range with the option of a shaded area and also hitting from the grass. A large putting green is also available to perfect the short game.

The golf course is a 6-hole Par 3 course with the average length of a hole being 55 yards. With some great characteristics on the golf course it proves to be a fun and ”sometimes” a challenging experience. The Kuredu Golf Club is a perfect setting not only to begin golf but a basic understanding of the game is necessary.

The Golf Club also provides a bar where you can simply relax with a cool drink or catch up on the latest news and from around the world.

Diving

Kuredu is home to the Prodivers PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center. In addition to offering the full range of PADI scuba diving courses, Prodivers also has one of the Maldives’ only dedicated snorkel centers.

In addition to having snorkel equipment for rent, Prodivers also offers a range of snorkel courses, including the very popular Turtle & Manta Ray Specialty Courses. The snorkel center also run daily trips to a number of snorkel sites around the Atoll.

Ocean Water Sports

Activities

Kuredu is very unique in offering multifaceted holiday concept. If your kind of holiday is a total “chill out”? It is possible on Kuredu. Or, if your kind of holiday needs to be either dotted with activities or loaded with activities, we got them too!

Entertainment Centre is one of our new facilities designed to offer a variety of activities in one location within a spacious semi open Maldivian House.

The Entertainment Centre features a TV Hall with satellite channels and DVD player, a library with books in number of languages, a table top chess, giant floor chess with approximately two feet tall figures, table tennis, “fussball” (table football), darts and two pool tables within an air conditioned room.

Beach Volleyball is an everyday favourite of our guests of all ages. Once a week, the beach volleyball tournament between our guests is a festival.

Football on an island is possible if you are in Kuredu. A multipurpose ground is the venue for various games like football and cricket, and we conduct competitions also during the week.

Floodlit Tennis on hard court is open almost all the day long between 08h00 and 20h00. Racquets and balls could be rented on the island.

Floodlit Badminton is also open between 08h00 and 20h00 with the possibility of renting the racquets and shuttle cocks. Playing on the sand based court is an all new experience and is fun with no shoes!

Board Games for those who prefer more of mental challenges are available between 09h00 and 01h00 at some of our bars.

Gym is newly refurbished and fully air conditioned with soothing music. The gym offers you a wide variety of workout possibilities from Cardio Section to heavy weight lift. The modernly designed and well selected range of equipment includes Fit Stride (total body trainer), cycles, multi press, lat / row, leg curl / extension, leg press / calf raise, tread mills and of course the weights and dumbbells which are predestined to your exercise habits.

The "O" Beach Villas have a spacious bedroom with a sitting area and are exquisitely furnished with double beds, dressing table and sofa with table in teak, The terrace have a daybed with fan on top, and a sitting group, romantic open air bathrooms with walk in shower.
