The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel first opened its doors in May of 1927. Since hosting the First Academy Awards in 1929, The Hollywood Roosevelt has become both a landmark attraction and a popular destination for locals and tourists from around the world. The hotel, which was named after United States President Theodore Roosevelt, was conceived in the Spanish Colonial Revival style.

After undergoing a 25 million dollar renovation with rooms designed by Yabu Pushelberg, The Hollywood Roosevelt is truly a modern Hollywood revival. From poolside cabanas to  opulent suites, accommodation choices are abundant. The 3200 square foot Gable and Lombard Penthouse offers an expansive private rooftop deck with views of downtown Los Angeles and the Hollywood Hills. As one of LA's top Trip Advisor hotels, the guest experience is like none other.

The Hollywood Roosevelt offers four unique dining options including the world famous poolisde Tropicana Cafe and Bar, Chef Tim Goodell's Public Kitchen and Bar, the award winning 25 Degrees and 24 hour room service.

Tropicana Pool Cafe
Tropicana Pool Cafe

During the day, Tropicana serves as an oasis for hotel guests and locals, as well as the perfect embodiment of the Southern California dream for tourists. The pool area exudes Hollywood glamour and recalls the set of a classic movie; But at Tropicana, the guest is the star and the servers will happily cater to her every need, whether that be a classic American hamburger with Kennebec fries or a simple champagne cocktail.

Public Kitchen & Bar
Public Kitchen & Bar

Public Kitchen & Bar is the critically-acclaimed American brasserie created by Executive Chef and Restauranteur Tim Goodell. It is located off of the historic main lobby of The Hollywood Roosevelt. With industrial-chic brass chandeliers, tufted leather banquettes, a wall of lush greenery and a historic mural—rediscovered during the renovation process— Public Kitchen sets the scene for an eclectic yet relaxed dining experience.

25 Degrees
25 Degrees

Named after the precise temperature difference between a raw and well-done hamburger, 25 Degrees introduces a sophisticated twist on the traditional American burger bar. Ever since its inception over 10 years ago, this 24-hour diner has been hailed for serving LA’s best burgers on countless occasions.

24 Hour In-Room Dining
24 Hour In-Room Dining

In-Room Dining at the hotel is available 24 hours. The menu includes items from Tropicana Pool Cafe and 25 Degrees.

Library Bar
Library Bar

With the ambience and charm of a private den, The Library Bar invites guests to cozy up to some of the best cocktails in Los Angeles. At The Library Bar, there is no menu. Instead, guests choose the ingredients that pique their interest from a garden of fresh fruits, seasonal vegetables and refreshing herbs strewn in an elegant assortment across the bar. The expert mixologists will then work with guests to create something imaginative, delicious and unforgettable.
