Introducing the fully enclosed First Class Suite Experience true luxury with your own private hotel room in the sky. Game changing technology includes temperature controls and mood lighting, an industry first with virtual windows, and soft leather seating reminiscent of a Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

The news 777 equipped with glorious first class suites inspired by Mercedes-Benz. Those lucky enough are treated to what Emirates says is the world’s first fully enclosed suite, measuring a spacious 40 square feet. The private rooms feature “zero-gravity” seats, virtual windows, and active noise cancelling E1 headphones from Bowers and Wilkins developed for exclusively for Emirates. The rooms are also fitted with a pair of Safari binoculars, an entertainment system featuring 2,500 channels and wireless remote, a super-wide 32-inch full HD LCD TV, and custom-controlled mood lighting and climate allowing passengers to adjust the cabin’s temperature to 18 to 26 degrees Celsius.

The virtual windows are a feature on the otherwise windowless cabin suites along the middle aisle, and project a high-definition view of the outside using real-time cameras mounted on the plane. The westcoast of Mauritius is a region with a variety of interesting dive spots, with water temperatures ranging from 22° Celsius in winter (5mm wetsuit) to 28° Celsius in summer (3mm wetsuit). Average visibility: 20 to 25 meters. There is no typical "diving season". Beautiful conditions exist all year round but the visibility can, of course, be affected by waves, plankton, tides or rain.

A unique experience is the sight of DOLPHINS! All year, in the southwest, one can admire these fascinating creatures in their natural environment. Horse Racing

In the capital city of Mauritius, horse races were held since 1812 on the sole race-track commonly called the Champs de Mars. At the beginning of the tense 19th century, when the English colonists overwhelmed French in Mauritius and invaded the island, an English colonel wanted to calm the storms between French and English, the latter suggested a horse-racing meeting in Port-Louis between the two sides. Those race-meetings played a vital role in the history of the island, brought peace and became one of the most famous sports in Mauritius.

The races are still held every Saturday from March to December at the Champs de Mars where you will have the opportunity to discover this unique event in Mauritius which gathers about 20,000 people each week. You will spend an amazing afternoon in one of the eldest racecourse worldwide.
